First, I got the net channel on the wii, but in order to type something, it's letter by letter. I have not been on my computer because............the contractors never hooked our AC up.
Oh man, it's been a heck of a three days. We are having some very freakishly hot weather. 90 and HUMID. I asked the contractor during the week if he could please hook our AC unit back up for the weekend, because it's going to be really hot. He kinda laughed and said "Oh it won't be that hot". I explained that I have toxemia and when it gets that hot, I swell up and get sick.
Long story short, I was told it would be on. It's not on and the foreman is making up stories.
I got real sick starting friday. My feet swelled up so much I looked like Fred Flintstone. Saturday topped the cake when my entire body swelled up, my bp went up and it was becoming hard to breathe. My hubby was ready to take me to the ER, that's how bad it was. He ended up going out to buy a window AC and put that in the bedroom. That helped a lot, as long as I stay in there.
The rest of the house is at 87 degrees and it feels like a sauna. Tomorrow is supposed to be the last day of hotness, thank God.
Yes, I complained to the co owner as to what happened. I said it nicely, but at the same time let him know that this was a medical emergency and we were given the run around.
I'm MAD.
The bedroom is great, it's like a hotel in there so I'm OK now. I stopped here so I could eat my sandwich, as I can't sit on the bed and eat anymore because my belly is in the way LOL. My feet are still swollen but they have gone down, as well as my hands and such. So I need to get back in there and keep resting. Yesterday scared me pretty bad when I was having trouble breathing. I don't want to get to that point again, so I"m just staying in there.
Hubby is home tomorrow and will have a nice talk with the foreman. I dont' want to freak out on them, because I want this work done. They failed some inspection on Friday, so now we are a bit behind. I'm also going to let hubby deal with this guy when there are problems or concerns because I swear by God this guy is a chauvnist.
I hope everyone is doing well. Thanks so much for all the nice comments. I miss you all and I'm so bored in that darn bedroom! I have read here, but to type is like pulling teeth. I wonder if wii comes with some kind of keyboards? :)

Yesterday was my daughters 13th Birthday and our 15th Anniversary. I thought we were going to go out to eat (I wanted to get out of this house!) but the little one wanted KFC instead, so they picked it up and brought it home. Hence, I'm STILL home. I'm getting buggy. I do have a ton of things to do but I can only do so much.
Anyway, I got a great deal on a Wii on ebay and we bought that for her present this year. Normally she doesn't get such big things for her bday, but she's been very understanding that we can't have a party right now. Since the TV in the frontroom is not a good place at the moment, and the TV she is using in her room doesn't have AV jacks, we had to put it in our room. Now I'm hooked on this thing! LOL I can't wait until after the baby is born and I can play the action games more. It's a great workout! My favorite is boxing, but I can only play so much obviously.
There are a ton of cool things to play and do on there. I am glad we got it for her, it's fun for all of us. Plus she's getting a good workout playing the action games. It's nothing like the other game consoles what so ever. It also keeps me in bed (besides the action games) so it worked out well. It kind of takes away some of that buggyness!
The inspector is FINALLY coming tomorrow! This week has been dead because the guys can't do anything until that inspection goes through. Hopefully all will go well tomorrow and the crews of craziness will be back to finish the job. Hubby is home on Saturday as well as Monday so that's cool. I don't have to be home alone. I just wonder if they will sand the dry wall during one of those days, my daughter and niece are both home for Columbus day. I've already explained there is no running through the house, the guys will be working. We'll see how it goes, I'll fill you in.
I'm going to order the internet channel on the Wii tomorrow or Saturday and am hoping I can get this site on here. Then maybe i can catch up on all your blogs. I haven't been sitting at the computer for too long because my feet swell alot when sitting up for some weird reason. If I can get that to work in the bedroom that would be totally cool. Either way I'm going to catch up soon. I appreciate all the nice comments and miss you all. I hope to find all good blogs and hope everyone is doing good!
I just wanted to say hello and now I'm back to the rubber room LOL I'm hoping next month this baby will arrive and I can start to get back to myself. I cant' believe it's getting close to the big day. My due date is Dec. 6th, but I swear she is coming in November. As long as it's not October! LOL We'll see if my instincts are right. It seems like it's been so long on one hand, but on the other hand, time flew by. I remember blogging about taking the pregnancy test, pigging out like a mad woman, feeling sick all day, etc. Now it's getting near. Next appt. is Oct. 16th and we're going for that 3D pic this time! I'm going to eat a candy bar before I go in and sugar her up a little so she moves around LOL This is my last chance and this means war! LOL
Hubby is telling me to go rest rolleyes Hugs to everyone and thanks for reading my boring blogs. I hope to be more exciting soon LOL

Today is quiet day! The siders came to just put the gutters up and they left early. The next phase is to get the inspector here. The foreman said either today or tomorrow. As soon as he gives the OK, we should really be flying then. I must say, I am enjoying the quiet with no one in the house today. The stupid hvac guys came yesterday to finish up some work in there and put yet another hole in our hallway closet! The jackets now have drywall over them! It's going to take them a week just to fix all the holes LOL. I'm not fretting too much, it's not that big of a deal.
I'm getting a lot of those braxton hix contractions so am going to lay down and get off my feet. Before I go, here are some pics as promised. If you weren't sure what the house looked like before, just scroll back several blogs, I posted some there.

I did not get a chance to take a pic of the house today, but promise to do so soon. I'm anxious to show you what a difference in two weeks.
The company wants all the bathroom fixtures and such this week, but of course, since my hubby is a procrastinator, we don't have everything. He better get the stuff he was supposed to get from work this week or I'm going to be fumed. If everything goes well, they MAY be done by the end of next week. Well at least the bulk of it.
So I made him take me to Menards today and we got the vanity for our bathroom. It was cheaper than HD. Not as nice, but at this point I'm out of money and every little savings helps a lot. We also got two new outside lights because the siders took our old ones off when they were working on the house. Since they were old and rusted I figure this is a good time to get new ones. So we found some cheap but decent looking ones.
I have no clue what will happen this week. Im dreading the dry wall. No one in my house cleans anything so I am stuck doing all of this. I can't just leave it either because the floors get so dirty , they are now tracking it back into the bedrooms. I vaccuumed up the stairs a little where the plumbers were working and just did a quick mop in the hallway floor because it was filthy. I cleaned off the railings as those were black and took all the tarps outside to shake them out. Obviously I'm not going to do a good cleaning because they will be back, but if I can do a little, it won't be as bad. The drywall is what I'm worried about because that stuff gets all over everything. When they are done with that, I have to wipe down all the walls, clean the blinds, every single piece of furniture, nook and cranny. If I have the baby, she can't be coming home to that stuff in the air. So that's going to be one heck of a job. I've asked the hubby to plastic off as much as possible, but I"m not counting on that.
Then once EVERYTHING is done, I really need to go over my carpets and get that cleaned because they are gross. All my new socks are dirty. It's not a hard job because the carpet cleaner is a nice one, but I'd really like to have it done before I go in labor. You know how that goes, you have the baby and can't do anything for a few days basically. Then you got visitors coming over. My wish is just to have things cleaned up so I can come home to a home and not a train wreck. I wish the people in my house would help me more. My hubby is always in the garage watching TV and my daughter is always on the phone or IMing. She does a little but it's like pulling teeth trying to get her to do something. My sister is useless and only cares about herself so I can't count on her for anything. So that leaves me. The waddling pregnant lady huffing and puffing trying to keep things under control. I can't wait to feel myself again.
Weds. is my daughters 13th Birthday and our 15th Wedding anniversary. I'm hoping I will be ok to at least just go out to eat. I figure since I aint' getting my bed rest anyway I may as well get out to eat. The last two days my feet/ankles are getting huge. It's so hard to sleep. I'm miserable and trying to deal with so much. I pray every night the work gets done soon and the baby stays put until Iv'e got things cleaned up. That would mean the world to me at this point. I can organize stuff later , but just so the house is relatively clean and our furniture is moved in the new room. I'd be a happy camper.
Sorry, hope I don't sound like Im whining, I think things are just starting to get to me. A person can only handle so much. I'll get through it though, but right now everything is getting to me.
Anyway, its getting late, which it really isn't, but since I get up so early, it is late LOL. I'm going to kick back for a bit and get to bed. I'll get the pic posted soon, I'm anxious to hear what you all think. I think the outside of the house looks like a brand new house. Too bad the inside looks like ground zero LOL But it shall pass.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I can't wait to get more time so I can get back here and get my mind off things for awhile. I always enjoy coming here. I'm proud to be part of this little loyal family, it's been a great outlet for me.

It has been one hectic week here. We had so many different crews here that I was asking HVAC guys questions about the siding, and the siders questions about the plumbing LOL On Tuesday we had the HVAC guys, plumbers, and electricians. The HVAC guys got me mad because ALL 20 of them kept using my bathroom and got it completely filthy! Someone also washed their hands in my kitchen sink and there was grease all over the counter top and floor. I was mad.
The plumbers were working on some pipes in our main hallway. They had to cut out a huge hole to do all the connections. Therefore, they are by the front door.
The electricians were getting ready to move this huge electrical thing from outside our garage. It's that high voltage stuff that connects your house to the main pole.
My Dad came by to do some work downstairs by my sister. So I'm down there talking to him and ask him if he could check the front overhead sewer because the power had been out for several hours. (When the sewer thing fills up, the pump pumps it out into the street. If it's off, it starts to back up , hence my sister floods again).
As I ask him this we hear thunder. All of a sudden it starts pouring rain. My Dad is running out in front to check the sewer and the electrician is up on a METAL ladder holding this big huge electrical pole! The storm is getting pretty bad and I thought for sure this guy was going to get zapped.
As I'm watching the electricians, the plumbers come running downstairs asking if we have any towels because the front hall way is leaking. THey had to keep the front door open to get some light to do their work, as the power had been off. So there's all this water in my hallways.
Seconds after that my Dad goes out my sisters door because the water is backing up at a small sewer right by her door. It's clogged with something so it's filling fast and my Dad is frantically trying to unclog it.
After he unclogs it, he notices that the water is pouring buckets from the new addition as the gutters aren't up yet. So all this water is coming down too fast to handle it. So he grabs a huge piece of plywood to divert the water away from the stairwell. As he's struggling with this, the Electrician just walks past him and starts talking to me LOL He sees my Dad struggling but decides he needs to let me know that they can't work anymore today because of the rain LOL
They go home, the plumbers cleaned up the hallway and my sisters place didn't flood out. It was damp and humid but my AC wouldn't go on. I go outside to see if it is running and the hvac guys yanked it from the cement , turned it sideways, and now there's this huge crater in my cement! To top that off, they installed the new ac unit for upstairs, and didn't cover it up. So all the stuff falling from the addition where someone was sawing, is falling into the new AC unit!
Good grief.
Needless to say I sent an email to the co owner with quite a few complaints for the day. He addressed all my problems and I got apology's from him and the foreman. They're also going to make sure those hvac guys stay out of my bathroom when they have to come back.
All but a very tiny spot of the siding is up. It looks fantastic. I wil take a pic tommorow. All the plumbing is ready to go. Electric is almost done. HVAC just needs the gas line to be hooked up. The Inspector comes Monday or Tuesday. After that, they start dry walling (and yes, they will fix the huge hole in my bedroom lol), putting the bathroom fixtures in, ceramic tile, paint, and finally carpet. They did SO much in two weeks! It should be all done in another two.
Tomorrow is a day of peace so I'm going to enjoy it. I'm beat tired right now so I"m headed off to bed. I hope everyone is doing good and enjoying the weekend. I'll be back soon to post pics.
